Three Yankees make Baseball America’s 2020 Top 100 prospects list

With three weeks until the official start of spring training, the lists of the top prospects in baseball will begin to be released according to the outlets that cover farmhands most. Following their recent announcement of the top 10 prospects per organization, we know that three Yankees minor leaguers have been ranked among Baseball America’s top 100 overall prospects.

The Baby Bomber that can be found closest to the top of the rankings is soon-to-be 17-year-old Jasson Dominguez. He’s listed at No. 38. Signed last July for $5.1 million in bonus pool money (the most the Yanks have ever spent on an international amateur), Dominguez has yet to play a professional game but is already drawing comparisons to a “teenage Mike Trout” by MLB.
