Derek Jeter isn’t the only legendary Yankee to say goodbye to the Bronx on this day. In 1968, Mickey Mantle stepped into the box at Yankee Stadium for the last time, drawing a walk in his final at-bat against Luis Tiant, who pitched a complete-game shutout in a 3-0 win for Cleveland.
