When evaluating the Yankees‘ farm system, it’s apparent that they have an abundance of talent. They possess plenty of high-octane arms and dynamic position players, but there are plenty of prospects that have yet to break through in a way that establishes them as one of the better prospects at their position. It’s clear that the Yankees are shifting towards an approach of prioritizing their farm, something that should allow them to have cost-controlled talent surrounding their high-priced talent.
