The Yankees have announced their list of guest instructors as pitchers and catchers finally report for duty. It has been a long, slow, and sometimes boring offseason only highlighted by the acquisition of Giancarlo Stanton, but now that spring training is upon us, we can finally get back to the part of baseball that is actually important: the playing of it. In order to help that process along, the Yankees have brought in a few guest instructors, while leaving out one key name.
Ron Guidry, Willie Randolph, Tino Martinez, Mark Teixeira, Alfonso Soriano, and Nick Swisher will all be in attendance this spring in order to help players for the season ahead.
