Everyone around the United States remembers the September 11 terrorist attacks, but for New Yorkers it’s personal.
You probably remember where you were (I was in Ps.71 in the Bronx at the time), who you were with, and what you were feeling as the towers toppled to the ground. Some days it feel like a lifetime ago, and others like it was yesterday; but the reality is that next year will mark 20 years since that horrible day in 2001.
MLB has decided they will commemorate the 20th anniversary during their 2021 season by matching up New York’s cross town rivals to play at Citi Field.
