Brandon Drury is expected to play a rehab game with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to continue his comeback from the blurry vision and migraines that have sidelined him since April 7.
“Assuming everything goes well [Tuesday], the plan is for him to go to Scranton [Wednesday],” manager Aaron Boone said before the Yankees’ 8-3 win over the Twins at the Stadium.
The manager added they will see how Drury feels as his activity increases before looking too far ahead.
“We want to get through today and get him feeling comfortable with going out and playing a game,” Boone said.
