The scene on the 4th of July in New York City is great when you have the Macy’s Fireworks show. By the end of the night at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark In St. George, the fireworks were in the backdrop during the ninth inning of the Staten Island Yankees’ (9-7) series opener against the Hudson Valley Rengades (8-7).
It was a close game, but in the end, Nic Wilson’s seventh inning home run helped the Renegades (Tampa Bay Rays) take the series opener over the New York Yankees‘ New York-Penn League affiliate by a final of 3-1.
