NEW YORK -- On an unseasonably warm January evening on Sunday in New York City, a lineup of baseball's biggest stars shared the thrill of victory. And a much anticipated joint public appearance of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton stole the show at the 95th annual New York Baseball Writers' Association of America Dinner.
Judge and Stanton last met during an iconic Home Run Derby at Marlins Park on July 11, 2017, during the All-Star Game festivities. Fans patiently awaited a showdown between the sluggers, but it never materialized, as Stanton was knocked out by Gary Sanchez in the first round.
