We’re back in the swing of things now. The Yankees will play their third Grapefruit League game this afternoon — they won the previous two — and the day in, day out of grind of baseball has returned. Position battles are underway, starters are getting stretched out, and the kids are doing all they can to impress. Fun time of the year.
The Yankees made the 20-ish mile ride across the causeway to Clearwater for this afternoon’s game against the Phillies. Two things to watch this afternoon: Gleyber Torres against a bonafide frontline starter in Aaron Nola, and Jordan Montgomery’s changeup.
