The last three days have seen a lot of action by the Yankees, with only some of it coming on the field. After completing a couple trades, the Yankees got back on the field to open up a series against the Royals.
On the field, it went mostly well. Sonny Gray had his third decent start in a row. The offense did have a ton of problems scoring against the Royals’ pitching. They picked up a 7-2 win, but it may have come at a cost.
The Yankees’ offense struck pretty quickly in the bottom of the first.
