It shook up professional baseball players enough that they loudly called for more safety netting at baseball stadiums.

During Wednesday's game between the Yankees and Minnesota Twins, Yankee Todd Frazier hit a scorching foul ball that smashed into the face of a young girl seated along the third-base line. The game came to halt as the young girl was taken out and rushed to a hospital. Her father later said "She's doing all right. Just keep her in your thoughts." He didn't offer any other information.

Frazier, who hit the ball and was visibly moved, said "Yeah, I think the netting should be up.
