Gary Sanchez and Slade Heathcott, who are two promising prospects in the Yankees farm system, have been recalled from Triple-A and will join the big league club.

The 22-year-old Sanchez hit .295 with six homeruns and drove in 26 runs in 35 games in Triple-A this season. The young catching prospect has shown more poise and confidence as he has moved up in the system, and with roster expansion and the Triple-A season over, it makes sense to give him a promotion to the big leagues.
