TAMPA -- It always initially looks strange seeing a well-known Mets player switch to a Yankees uniform, or vice versa. Yogi Berra and Rickey Henderson went from being Yankees stars to suiting up for the Mets, Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden were Mets legends and then Yankees.
The latest to go from one New York club to the other is a new Yankee who looked out of place sitting at his spring training locker Tuesday morning at Steinbrenner Field, a Latino shortstop now best known for having a controversial slide break his leg and end his 2015 postseason.
