Aaron Judge wasn’t the only victim when he fractured his right wrist in Thursday’s win over the Royals.
The pitcher that hit Judge with the 93 mph fastball, Kansas City’s Jakob Junis, also paid a price.
Despite there being clearly no intention on the right-hander’s part, Junis was bombarded on social media by angry Yankees fans after Judge left the game, according to The Athletic.
“I wasn’t expecting it,” Junis told the website of the reaction. “But once it started happening, I was like: ‘Man, this is kind of crazy how many people are messaging me.
