Roger Clemens’ immorality won’t stop this Hall of Fame from putting him into baseball immortality.
The Pawtucket Red Sox, of whom Clemens was a member of for less than two months in the early 1980s, will induct the disgraced pitcher into its four-year-old Hall of Fame in late June.
“The PawSox Hall of Fame celebrates our franchise’s most legendary figures,” club executive Dan Rea said in a statement Friday.
It also allows the baby Red Sox ball club to earn a few extra bucks by charging fans to “spend time with Roger” at the game.
Clemens, among others, has been held out of baseball’s Hall of Fame due to nearly foolproof suspicions he used performance-enhancing drugs during her career.
