Nearly two years ago the than Roc Nation cover boy Robinson Cano shocked the entire baseball world when he left the Yankees high and dry to sign his 10-year $240 MM deal with the Seattle Mariners.
Brian Cashman and the Yankees reportedly offered Cano a seven-year $175 MM deal, (which is slightly higher than the average annual value he’s earning in Seattle) but he opted to take his talents out west to the ‘Emerald City’ when they offered him three more years of insurance.
Over the course of the past two seasons there have been rumors surfacing in Seattle that Robinson Cano was unhappy with his current situation, and who can blame him?
