The big man is staying put in the Bronx. According to a report, CC Sabathia will re-sign with the New York Yankees. The deal will keep the veteran lefty in pinstripes for the 2018 season.
First reported by Mark Feinsand, the contract is for one-year and $10 million dollars, pending a physical.
His agent Kyle Thousand telling MLB.com, “CC feels there’s unfinished business to attend to. There were competitive offers that CC was weighing but in the end, CC wanted to come back and win a championship with the Yankees.”
