It's likely Eovaldi and the team will settle somewhere in the $5.5 million range. (The Yankees avoided arbitration cases with Michael Pineda and Dustin Ackley Friday.)
Eovaldi, 25, in his first season with the Yankees, finished the year with a 4.20 ERA and spent the last month on the disabled list due to elbow inflammation.
