As the calendar flipped from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Yankees found themselves still in the midst of battle against the Minnesota Twins.
In the bottom of the 10th inning, the Yankees sported a two-run lead, but also had a bases-loaded fire to put out. Twins outfielder Max Kepler launched Chad Green’s offering into left-center field, for what appeared to be a walk-off hit. Instead, Aaron Hicks ran down the ball and made the diving catch of the season.
