Rehabbing Yankees heading to Tampa with plenty of uncertainty

The Yankees hit the road following Sunday’s 8-5 loss to the Red Sox, off to begin a six-game trip in Toronto on Tuesday.

Several of their injured teammates will be headed out of The Bronx, as well, with Aaron Judge, Dellin Betances and Greg Bird slated to continue their rehab in Tampa.

Judge, sidelined with a strained oblique since April 20, has been hitting the cage and while Aaron Boone said there still isn’t a timeline for Judge’s return to the lineup, the manager added “he’s doing really well.”

The same goes for Betances, who threw a 30-pitch bullpen Sunday and is expected to face hitters this week for the first time since suffering a setback in his recovery from a shoulder impingement that has kept him out all year.
