BOSTON — Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.
David Ortiz started his final lap against the Yankees as he has done so many times before, with a huge home run in Friday’s 4-2 Red Sox win at Fenway Park.
Just as he used to torment even the best reliever the Yankees ever had — Mariano Rivera — Ortiz added another dominant right-hander to his list, taking Dellin Betances deep for the first time in the bottom of the eighth to snap a 2-2 tie.
Will he miss beating the Yankees when he stops playing?
