Nothing much to report from yesterday. The Yankees lost to the Red Sox. Losing to Boston meant that they did not clinch a postseason berth yet, nor did that notch their 10,000th franchise win. You know, all that exciting stuff I told you about in yesterday's COTD thread. At least Ivan Nova didn't pitch all that badly. Yeah, he gave up four runs. Outside of those two dinger mistakes, a lot of his pitches were working yesterday.
