The Yankees achieved peak RISP frustration during last night's loss to the Red Sox. Not the best way to end the month.
After a weekend of utterly crushing the Braves with their mighty offense, the Yankees left their ability to hit with RISP in Atlanta as they fell to the last place, gutter-dwelling Red Sox by a score of 4-3. They lost by one run in a game where they loaded the bases a total of four times, two of those times with no outs. It is hard to imagine a more frustrating way to lose a ballgame, especially with a team that employs Jean Machi as their current closer.
