Not much happening in the world of baseball. But at least there's football today.
As Greg noted yesterday, we've now entered the waiting period where free agency has begun, but it hasn't actually begun. Qualifying offers were extended to players yesterday, players with opt out clauses, opted in or out, and free agents to be were finally freed. However, seeing as the Winter Meetings have not happened yet, it's very unlikely anything significant happens until then. Also noteworthy is that no player has ever accepted a qualifying offer, so expecting that to change to bring us some news is probably a lost cause.
