The Baltimore Orioles had begun to get very tired of Chris Davis and his shenanigans. After making him a $150 million offer and having him say no to that and then just being unable to reach a deal with him, the O's moved on from Davis. It seems like there wasn't much of a market for Davis so the O's didn't feel the need to get in a bidding war with themselves, so they set their eyes on Yoenis Cespedes. To further drive that point him, the O's went and signed Chris Davis. Wait what?
