At one point, we thought that there might not be enough to talk about for a podcast so soon after our most recent edition went live last Thursday. Then, well, Aaron Judge and several other Yankees got COVID, Luke Voit ended up back on the injured list, and suddenly, the Yankees’ lineup against the Red Sox featured an outfield of Ryan LaMarre, Greg Allen, and Trey Amburgey — a totally normal weekend.
Perhaps the most inexplicable part of this entire development is that after all those losses, the Yankees finally won their first series of the year against the Red Sox.
