Opening Day has come and gone, and the Bronx Bombers have begun the season led by the half of their team that was supposed to be more of a question mark — their pitching staff. Although an up-and-down offense has allowed them to drop two games early on, the men on the mound have permitted just 11 runs in 5 games. Not too shabby.
This podcast was recorded prior to Gerrit Cole’s dominant start against Baltimore on Tuesday night, but thanks to his Opening Day outing and other strong efforts from Jordan Montgomery and the middle relievers, there was still plenty of pitching to chat about.
