Pedro Martinez has put himself back in the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry.
The former Boston ace called out the Yankees on Tuesday night as they slogged to a 2-1, 12-inning win over the Marlins.
“The Yankees don’t seem to have the energy of a winning team,” Martinez, now an analyst for TBS and MLB Network, tweeted.
“I understand some key players are injured, but they don’t seem to be hustling out there.”
The Yankees’ win came at a price as Aroldis Chapman had to leave the game after one batter, citing a “worrisome” pain in a knee that has been an issue for weeks.
