The time has finally come; the week that comprises some of the best days of the year if you are a baseball fan. Yes, teams are having their Opening Days of the Major League Baseball season. The weather may still be cold, it might be snowing, and you might be wearing a parka and ski hat, but it’s still Opening Day.
Though the 2016 home opener was forgettable, the Yankees have had many glorious first games of the season. Derek Jeter’s first season in the Bronx, the 2010 opener when CC Sabathia and company received their first World Series rings, Bobby Murcer’s pinch-hit grand slam back in 1981.
