Old Timers’ Day roster announced

The team announced today the former Yankees who will be on hand for the 70th annual Old Timers’ Day. This year’s festivities will be held on June 12 before the game against the Detroit Tigers.

1996 World Series MVP John Wetteland will be making his Old Timers’ Day debut, along with ’96 teammate Mariano Duncan. Bubba Crosby and Eddie Robinson are also rookies this year. And since behind every great man is an even greater woman, joining the legends on the field will be the widows of: Elston Howard, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Billy Martin, Thurman Munson, and Bobby Murcer.
