NEW YORK -- Oakland A's starting pitcher Jharel Cotton has no-hit the Yankees through five innings at Yankee Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Yankees were in the lead, however, 1-0, on Starlin Castro's first-inning sacrifice fly that brought in Gary Sanchez.
Cotton has fanned four Yankees in the process. He's also given up some hard contact. Didi Gregorius and Aaron Hicks each hooked long fly balls that would have been homers if they weren't about 15 feet foul.
Cotton was called up Saturday to replace Kendall Graveman, who was put on the disabled list with shoulder soreness.
