Aaron Judge drew a large crowd Tuesday morning at Yankee Stadium, where he faced minor league right-hander Adonis Rosa in a simulated game after the Red Sox-Yankees game was moved from a 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. start due to expected rain.
Judge’s second simulated action in two days dominated the Yankees brass for two rounds of hitting. GM Brian Cashman, Aaron Boone, hitting coach Marcus Thames, trainer Steve Donohue and special adviser Reggie Jackson watched intently as the All-Star right fielder faced Rosa for two rounds in an attempt to knock rust off a swing that was much better in batting practice than it looked against Rosa.
