BRONX, N.Y. — I’m coming home, I’m coming home, tell the world I’m coming home. West Islip, N.Y. native and SUNY Stony Brook product, Nick Tropeano, has inked a minor-league pact with the New York Yankees, as first reported by Jon Heyman.
Tropeano has been a starting pitcher in parts of five seasons in the bigs. The 6’4″ right-hander made his major-league debut with the Houston Astros in 2014 and has pitched with the Los Angeles Angels the past four seasons.
