NEW YORK -- Nick Swisher made his first Old-Timers' Day at Yankee Stadium a memorable one
The former Yankees outfielder lined a three-run home run into the right-field seats on Sunday, and, despite throwing lefty, started the game at third base. Swisher was one of five players making their Old-Timers' Day debuts, along with Jason Giambi, Aaron Boone, Andy Pettitte and Dion James.
The 72nd version of the game at Yankee Stadium featured its fair share of strategy.
Former Yankees pitcher Ron Guidry took himself out of the game, summoning David Cone to relieve him in the middle of the first inning.
