The Yankees lost a series to the ORIOLES!
I have to complain about it at least once, but I promise, I’m moving on. Onward and upward. and the Yankees welcome the Blue Jays for a four-game set this week, starting with a Labor Day matinee.
Jameson Taillon is in a rough patch, with four straight bad starts against the White Sox, Twins, Athletics and Angels headed into play, and in those last two starts, he’s allowed 11 runs in just 8.1 innings. He does seem fatigued, and given he hasn’t thrown this many innings since 2018, that’s not surprising.
