Last night’s victory against the Rays had everything going right for the Yankees. They got a strong outing from their starting pitcher, timely offense, and a relatively stress free bullpen showing. I would not mind doing that again tonight!
To keep the ball rolling, the Yankees will send Luis Cessa to the mound. To get him on the roster, they designated George Kontos for assignment. This will be Cessa’s fourth big league start of the season. He pitched against the Rays at Tropicana Field last month, and for the most part did a nice job.
