New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays: Domingo Germán vs. Chris Archer

Well, yesterday afternoon’s game was no fun, was it? I personally wasn’t able to watch, but the 10-5 score doesn’t exactly make me think I would have enjoyed watching it. The glorious thing about baseball, however, is that after (almost) every loss, there’s another game to play.

Domingo Germán gets the ball for the Yankees, making his second start of the season. Germán looks to get back on track after a rough first start. After a spring training in which he gave up only two runs, struck out 17, and walked only one, Germán’s first start, against the Toronto Blue Jays last Sunday, looks like a train wreck: he was able to last only three innings and gave up three runs on four hits (two homers), striking out two and walking one; he certainly was overshadowed by the six scoreless, one-hit innings Michael King followed him with.
