The Yankees head to Minneapolis to take on their favorite opponent in the Twins, whom the Bombers have thoroughly owned for the last thousand or so years.
J.A. Happ is on the bump for the Yankees, which is almost as welcomed a sign as the Twins on the schedule. Aside from one blemish, Happ has been outstanding for New York, including his last start in Oakland, where he allowed just a pair of hits in six one-run innings against an emphatic Athletics offense. Happ carries a 3.90 ERA into the series opener.
