After splitting the first two games of the series, the Yankees and Twins will wrap up their series in the Bronx today. If the Yankees want to come away with the series win, they’re going to have to go through an old friend to do it. Michael Pineda will get the ball for Minnesota. It will be his first start against the Yankees since leaving the team after the 2017 season.
The move to the midwest hasn’t worked out so far for Pineda, as he comes in with an ERA over six.
