Remember when Domingo German made his first career start and tossed six no-hit innings? That feels like it happened a lifetime ago. Unfortunately, he has not fared so well since that outing, and will have the difficult task of squaring off against Justin Verlander today. The Yankees are going to need German to bounce back in a big way if they’re going to have any shot of starting this series with a win. Verlander is off to a tremendous start, and racked up a season-best 14 strikeouts when these two teams faced off at the beginning of the month.
