So, uh, it’s time for baseball?
After the All-Star break and the roster carnage that ensued after COVID issues led to the postponement for yesterday’s game, the Yankees will finally begin the second half tonight. In doing so, they’ll be trotting out a lineup that looks very different than the one against the Astros last Sunday.
In the starting nine today will be the returning Chris Gittens (due to Luke Voit’s bone bruise) and newcomer Trey Amburgey, who is making his major league debut. Among those on the bench will be Rob Brantly, Greg Allen, and Hoy Park, who also could make his MLB debut tonight.
