The non-waiver trade deadline has come and gone, and no team sold more than the Baltimore Orioles. The O’s traded away a bevy of major leaguers, including Manny Machado, Zach Britton, Kevin Gausman, Jonathan Schoop, Darren O’Day, and Brad Brach. The Yankees struggled to beat Baltimore earlier this season, so maybe they will have better luck now.
Masahiro Tanaka will get the ball for the Yankees. He owns a 4.09 ERA with a 4.58 FIP on the season. He is, however, fresh off a complete game shutout against the Rays.
