What started as a “the Yankees need to get going before I turn on Netflix-game” turned into one of the most entertaining nights of the season. The Yankees scored all ten of their runs in the sixth inning or later. Gary Sanchez continued his comeback season with the go-ahead homer in the ninth. Gleyber Torres had his fifth multi-homer game of his career, making him the youngest player ever to have five multi-homer games. But most importantly, the Yankees increased their AL East lead to a full game over the Rays, who had a day off on Monday.
