Earlier today, the Yankees activated CC Sabathia from the 10-day disabled list. The left-hander went down on August 13th with right knee inflammation, but reports later indicated it was a precautionary move. Sabathia simply needed a “timeout”.
Now that he’s back, he can continue to build on his strong season. Sabathia has pitched to a 3.32 ERA (4.38 FIP) over 119.1 innings. He last started at Camden Yards on July 9th, and it didn’t exactly go well. The left-hander allowed five runs over seven hits across five innings. He also gave up two home runs.
