Even though the New York Yankees didn’t achieve their ultimate goal last season of winning number 28, they were still one of the best ball clubs in the Major Leagues. With the acquisition of Gerrit Cole, that was pretty much the cherry on top. The Yankee roster and lineup is essentially done and ready to go for the 2020 season.
This is one of the first offseasons I can remember in several years that was locked and loaded this early. Usually, Brian Cashman and the front office is working up until January or February trying their luck at free agents and analyzing possible trades.
