New York Yankees Struggles Due To The Knuckleball

After putting up 90 runs in ten games between July 25th and August 4th, it seemed as though the New York Yankees were unstoppable.

Then something changed.

On August 5th, the Boston Red Sox started Steven Wright, a knuckleballer, against the Yankees. This started the slump that the Yankees are currently in.

The Yankees only managed one run that game off of Wright who pitched eight innings. The reason was because the Yankees had to adjust to the speed and movement of a knuckleball which they had not seen in a long time.
