The saying goes when it rains, it pours. That’s the case with the New York Yankees and the injury bug, this time biting Tory Tulowitzki.
After the bottom of the third inning, Tulowitzki left the game while Gleyber Torres moved to short and Tyler Wade took Tulo’s place. Right away, you couldn’t help but wonder if he’d injured himself yet again.
YES Network’s Meredith Markovits reports Tulowitzki left the game with a left calf strain and is heading to NY Presbyterian where he’ll receive more testing.
