New York Yankees SS Didi Gregorius fields grounders, doesn’t throw (Video)

New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius was spotted taking grounders before the Yankees game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night. He still is not able to throw, though.

Gregorius tore the cartilage in his right wrist as he slid into home plate on Saturday. Ironically, the injury came on a play that not only won the game against the Orioles but also clinched a Yankees’ playoff berth.

After receiving a cortisone shot on Sunday, Gregorius told MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch.

“We’ll see how far it goes, but I have some movement in there.
