During their series against the Baltimore Orioles earlier this week, the New York Yankees had themselves a mini home run derby. It was a slugfest culminated by a 14-1 shellacking to complete the sweep.
During the Yankees 9-4 win in the second game of the series, shortstop Didi Gregorius hit a massive 417-foot home run to right field which landed on Eutaw Street. This has earned him the honor of having a plaque on said street.
For those who don’t know, Eutaw Street is the festive area that’s located between Camden Yards and the B&O warehouse.
