New York Yankees Recap: Yankees Win 3-1 Behind Strong Start From Luis Severino

In the final game of a three game series with the Rays, the Yankees got a great bounce back performance from their rookie Luis Severino. He was able to strike out seven while only giving up one run. The Yankees were able to grind out a victory, and win another series.

In the second inning the Yankees were able to get on the board. Carlos Beltran worked a lead off walk in the top of the second. The following at-bat Greg Bird smoked a line drive to centerfield, and was able to score Beltran from first.
